Access to books in the home leads to higher academic achievement. However, most children in Ethiopia lack that privilege. Many schools in Ethiopia are poorly equipped, often lacking reading rooms and libraries, and with access to few books that are outdated or inappropriate for the age or skills level of the students (CODE-Ethiopia, 2015, excerpt from unesco.com). We’ve partnered with an NGO based in Los Angeles and Ethiopia that runs a school in Addis Ababa. With your support, we donate books to The Fregenet Foundation that will be directly given to the students in Ethiopia.
